6 Weeks down, 6 weeks to go until finishing the UTC challenge.
Eating right & regular exercise are actually pretty amazing. They really do work, and quite effectively. We all have heard about what we need to do to be healthy. We all are pretty sure that we know what to do to be healthy. How many of us actually put that knowledge into practice?
I'm fully down 2 pant sizes, almost ready for the third.
My extra large shirts are too big.
I have dropped a lot of body fat and added a considerable amount of lean muscle mass.
The scale says that I'm down close to 20 pounds since starting the transformation process.
My resting heart rate has improved as well as my blood pressure. I haven't had any blood work done yet but it's coming soon. Maybe the results will be sufficient for the doctor to reduce and or eliminate some of the 3 maintenance meds I use daily for blood pressure, cholesterol & tri-glycerides.
The whole idea of creating good habits, mainly eating & regular various exercise is working rather well, in spite of the fact that I am a shift worker at my regular full time job.
I thank God for putting the path before me that I have chosen and all of it's trials and lessons. This is another lesson that I plan to keep with me for the rest of my life and afterward. A lesson I plan to keep in practice.
